WHAT
A newspaper is a printed periodical whose purpose is to deliver news about current affairs covering a large variety of fields such as politics, business, sports, art etc, in an up-to-date, factual manner.
often it includes materials such as opinion columns, weather forecasts, reviews of local services, obituaries, birth notices, crosswords, editorial cartoons and comic strips. Newspapers appear most commonly in daily editions, but may also be issued twice a day or weekly.
What is a
Newspaper?
Public officials in ancient Rome posted news of the day in a public space, but it was not until the invention of the printing press in the late Middle Ages that mass-produced printed matter became possible. One hundred fifty years after the invention of printing from movable type by Johann Gutenberg in 1447, the first regular newspaper, Avisa Relation oder Zeitung, appeared in Germany in the early 17th century. The first English-language newspaper, the Weekly Newes, began publishing in England in 1622.
The first english newspaper in India was Hickey’s Bengal Gazette published from Kolkata in 1780.

We shadowed people from each stage in order to observe and understand the processes firsthand.
