Location

Big Thanks

To Mahima for being the most proactive and fun partner ever!

To Lee Sean for letting us explore our ideas through this project!

How might we evoke enthusiasm and increase relatedness among students after a long winter break?

Background

When it was time to return from our winter break for the second semester at DSI, Mahima and I were feeling overwhelmed by everything we had already forgotten from the previous months only to be sucked in with all the new information coming our way. We had been away from our new friends since a month and we felt the need to reconnect with them and energize ourselves before diving deep into the second semester. We had been learning the art of facilitation and hosting in our courses and thought, what a great opportunity it would be to hold a fun activity session on the first day of school to bring us back to life!

Results

We designed and hosted a 40 minute session, full of nostalgia from our best memories spent together, deep conversations, laughter and an exciting quiz- relay to test our memory!

Mahima and I made small affirmation and welcome back notes for all.
